On this episode of the Adult in the Room Podcast livestream Victoria Taft's curiosity takes her to the door of Professor Richard Epstein, the famous libertarian constitutional scholar. Professor Epstein, the Laurence A. Tisch Professor at NYU, talks about his book, "The Myth of Birthright Citizenship: What the Fourteenth Amendment Really Says," on the cusp of the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling on Trump v. Barbara.
As expected, after President Trump's Executive Order pausing the practice of America's open border, birth tourism ridiculousness, leftists, who favor flooding the zone with illegal aliens, immediately sued to stop him.
And here we are at the U.S. Supreme Court.
But will the John Roberts court have the guts to rule the way the Epstein believes the Founders, early American scholars, and 14th Amendment writers understood was the legal state of play at the time?

Remember the outrage we still hear about today over Charlottesville? It turns out, that Southern Poverty Law Center paid an informant $270,000 to transport people to the Antifa riot. That's according to a new indictment.
The Department of Justice has hit the Hate Map Hit Squad at the Southern Poverty Law Center —and, believe me nobody at the SPLC is impoverished — with multiple indictments for wire fraud, making false statements to banks, lying to donors who thought they were helping get rid of hate but instead the SPLC was PAYING HATERS TO CREATE OUTRAGE AND INCREASE DONATIONS to the group. Moreover, the organization is alleged to have set up phony companies for the purpose of laundering money to hide its intent to use donations to juice an OUTRAGE FACTORY to get more donors. But that's not all. The SPLC is accused of conspiracy to launder money and lie about its intentions.
